So Charlie and I were talking earlier and I brought up that I absolutely love Norah Jones, but sometimes I hate listening to her. Really just her 1st cd because it throws an old boyfriend in my face, but I love the cd. I thought he was going to tell me that was stupid, but he agreed and said my feelings were shared by everyone. "Ask anyone if they have a favorite song or artist ruined because it reminds them of someone or something and they'll say yes every time."
So, out of curiosity, what song/artist is ruined because it reminds of you of an ex?

(It's not that bad for me. Still a great tune & I can listen to it still without wanting a bottle of Jack & a razor. Jk.)

My last relationship was waaaaaaay to long ago to have any songs ruined. Still, I think of walking to the ex boyfriends house for lunch whenever I hear "Low" by cracker. I was listening to my walkman while taking that noon time walk when I heard that song for the first time.
Mazzy Star - Fade Into You, although I still like that song, so it doesn't really count. Really, I don't have any songs that have been ruined, but there are lots that bring back memories. Don't even get me started on Lil Troy - Wanna be a Baller.
i'm sure i had some ruined by many but i have a crappy memory so i don't remember any particular ones! but i'd say techno music was kind of ruined for me but that's ok i didn't really like it in the first place. :-)
My terrible high school ex used to listen to shitty old music...like that Amy song....I don't know who sings it, but it's like old school rock or something...I don't know. But, everytime I hear it, blah...
